Hoy, defensores de la comunidad y del medio ambiente lanzaron la campaña ‘Utility Watch Nevada’ para exigir que exista una mayor rendición de cuentas y transparencia por parte de NV Energy y Southwest Gas. La campaña refleja y amplía las frustraciones de los clientes que están cansados de la inacción después de haber denunciado repetidamente las subidas volátiles del precio del gas metano (natural), los aumentos injustos de las tarifas y los gastos frivolos de los servicios públicos, tales como el pago de bonos a los empleados o una nueva planta de gas, la primera en casi 15 años.

‘Utility Watch Nevada’ Demands Greater Accountability from Energy Utilities

Today, community and environmental advocates launched ‘Utility Watch Nevada’ to demand greater accountability and transparency from NV Energy and Southwest Gas. The campaign reflects and builds on the frustrations of customers who are tired of inaction after repeatedly calling out volatile methane (natural) gas price spikes, unfair rate increases, and frivolous utility spending like paying for employee bonuses or a new gas plant, the first in nearly 15 years.
